Router Bridging What you need Zone Alarm Pro Cain and Abel Router Directions Cain 1. Open up Cain. 2. Above the tabs on the top, you should see start/stop sniffer, on the left. Click it. Make sure it is popped inside. 3. Next Click the sniffer tab, next to start/stop sniffer. 4. Then you should see the big blue plus(+). Click it. 5. You should see MAC Address Scanner, as the title. 6. Make sure All host in my Subnet is the only thing bubbled in. Nothing Else. 7. Click "Ok" at the bottom. 8. Then the box should disappear and make a new one saying, "Scanning MAC Addresses. Let it Scan. 9. Then at the bottom you should see, APR Tab. Click it. 10. You should see 2 different sections. Look at the top one. Click in the white of the top box.Then you should see the blue plus(+) go blue, instead of grey. Click the plus sign again. 11.You should see "New APR Poison Routing". Also you should see some IPs. Click the first one, which is your router or gateway IP. It should bring other IPs to the other side of the box. 12. Highlight all of them.(Hold Control and click them). Then click "Ok". 13. Now you should see something that says Idle. Click all of them again and press the "Poison". Its the yellow symbol, with the black triangles in it. It looks like a Radiation Symbol. Now all the Idles, should say, "Poisoning". 14. Make sure it is full-routering. If it is half-routering, you will probably lag out, or the person your bridging will not get host. 15. Make sure you are in a party with the person you are bridging. Zone Alarm 1. Open up Zone Alarm Pro. 2. Go to the Firewall tab, on the left. 3. Click on the Zones tab. 4. You should see New Network, and Loopback Adapter. 5. Click the New Network then, click edit in the bottom corner. 6. Put Your New Network On Internet, NOT TRUSTED OR BLOCKED. 7. Next you add Bungies and XBL IPs.(you can find them in the stickies) 8. If you are going to bridge someone add their IP in your trusted list. How to give host 1. Get the person your bridging host go make a party. 2. Open up your Cain and Zone Alarm Pro and do the directions above. 3. Click the Main tab. 4. Put your Internet Zone on High, and your Trusted Zone on Medium. 5. Start the game and he/she should get host if you've done everything right. You should get host boxes.
